About the role Your Impact as Technical Sourcing Engineer Screening of the supply market in India for engineering materials and products based on the needs of the local production facilities (spare parts) and needs from the Engineering organization worldwide (machine construction). Analysis and evaluation of the quoted materials and products and strategic supplier selection in cooperation with the technical requestor. Drive RFQ processes, including quote follow-ups, supplier meetings, and on-site evaluations. Analyse quotations, compare supplier offers, and prepare evaluations and decision matrices for strategic sourcing. Assess supplier capabilities (quality, logistics, price, support) and coordinate with cross-functional teams to finalize selection. Ensure suppliers adhere to quality and process standards using tools like CAPA and 8D; support resolution of supply-related issues and drive continuous improvement. Summarizes and communicates supply market insights within the Engineering organization and provides sourcing and technical recommendations to designers, production teams, and purchasers. About You Bachelors degree in mechanical, or a related field with 8 -12 years of worked in Mechanical machines manufacturing company / mechanical Project base company. Experience of working in category Sheet Metal and Fabrication, Machined Parts, STD commercial bought out parts. In-depth understanding of Strategic Sourcing, P2P (Procure-to-Pay), and S2P (Source-to-Pay) processes. Proficient in problem-solving tools such as CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), 8D (Eight Disciplines Problem Solving), etc. Good understanding of various mechanical manufacturing process at Vendor end. Having experience in dealing with Project parts very high variety but less volume Experience and Knowledge of Vendor Base in and around Pune, exploring Vendor based in and around Pune Hands-on experience with Supplier Audits, assessments, and selection processes. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions involving technical and commercial considerations. Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams. Willingness to travel for supplier visits and evaluations. What is in it for you Competitive salary.
