The HVAC Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems at project sites. This role ensures that all mechanical works are executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities: • Site Execution & Supervision • Manage daily HVAC activities including ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment installation. • Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications. • Conduct site inspections and quality checks for ongoing work. • Technical Oversight • Interpret HVAC drawings, BOQs, and technical documents. • Coordinate with design engineers to resolve site-level discrepancies. • Ensure proper installation of AHUs, chillers, FCUs, VRF systems, exhaust fans, and ventilation units. • Commissioning & Testing • Lead testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems. • Prepare and review commissioning reports and snag lists. • Documentation & Reporting • Maintain daily site logs, material usage records, and progress reports. • Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation. • Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and compliant with project standards. • Coordination & Communication • Liaise with project managers, consultants, and vendors for smooth execution. • Attend site meetings and provide technical input as needed.
