The Branch Manager leads agency recruitment, sales performance, and operations for health insurance distribution through tied agents and brokers. This role drives FYC/renewal targets, ensures 85%+ persistency, and builds a sustainable agency force in assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Agency Development

  : Recruit 50-100 agents yearly; train/certify on health products (family floater, critical illness). Achieve activation rate >25% and case rate 4+/agent/month.

• Sales & Targets

  : Meet branch targets (5-10 Cr annual premium); run campaigns for group health/micro-insurance. Conduct weekly agent meetings and incentives payout.

• Performance Management

  : Track agent productivity via CRM; conduct monthly reviews. Handle terminations, MDRT qualifiers, and MDR leadership development.

• Customer & Compliance

  : Resolve policy servicing escalations (claims, renewals) within 24-48 hours. Ensure 100% IRDAI compliance, mis-selling audits, and KYC adherence.
