Key Responsibilities - Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including a ledger of all transactions. Ensure daily entry of all the financial transactions on accounting software (Tally) & weekly reconciliation of financial data with the reporting manager. Reporting and Auditing: Prepare financial reports, maintain the Profit & Loss statement, Day book , petty cash flow statement & balance sheet, and assist with internal and external financial audits. Garment Buying House Accounting: Manage all financial aspects related to garment buying house. Taxation and Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax laws, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) & other relevant applicable taxes. Qualifications and skills - Education: A degree in commerce or a related field is essential. A diploma in CA Inter or a Master's degree is often preferred. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts, specifically within the garment or export industry. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and strong skills in MS Excel (Formula, Pivot table etc.) are required. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) is critical. Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and good organizational and communication abilities are necessary.
