Manager / Asst. Manager - Design
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled EOT Crane Design Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and structural engineering principles and will be responsible for the design and analysis of various types of EOT cranes. This role requires the ability to perform complex calculations, create detailed drawings, and collaborate with other engineers and manufacturing personnel.Responsibilities:Design and develop EOT cranes and lifting equipment, including calculations for mechanical and structural components.Perform detailed calculations for load capacity, stress analysis, fatigue life, and other critical design parameters.Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for crane components and assemblies.Select appropriate materials and components for crane construction, considering cost, performance, and availability.Collaborate with manufacturing and quality control teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.Conduct design reviews and participate in problem-solving sessions.Prepare technical documentation, including calculations reports, design specifications, and operation manuals.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for design optimization and cost reduction.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.Proven experience in EOT crane design and analysis. Strong understanding of mechanical and structural engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, strength of materials, and structural analysis.Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for creating 2D and 3D models and drawings.Ability to perform complex calculations related to crane design, including load calculations, stress analysis, and stability analysis.Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., IS,ISO,FEM, ASME, DIN).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
