1. Position: Pressure Vessel FitterKey Responsibilities:Interpret fabrication drawings and vessel GA (General Arrangement) diagrams. Carry out fit-up of shells, nozzles, dished ends, stiffeners, support pads, and other pressure part components. Perform tack welding and fit-up inspection before final welding. Operate and use measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier, measuring tape, spirit level, square). Ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawing and maintain welding clearances. Coordinate with welders, QC team, and supervisors for stage-wise inspection. Comply with ASME Section VIII, IBR, and other applicable codes/standards. Maintain proper housekeeping and safety practices during vessel fabrication. Qualifications & Skills:ITI / Diploma in Fitter or Mechanical field. Minimum 3–5 years experience in pressure vessel fabrication. Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and WPS. Basic knowledge of welding sequences and distortion control.
