Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) machines to transform metallic, aluminum, and casting parts to close tolerances under minimal supervision with keen attention to detail Responsibilities What to expect day to day Operate and monitor VMC machine to produce task according to specifications Perform regular maintenance and trouble shooting on machine Load raw materials onto the machine table and secure them using appropriate fixtures. Load and unload cutting tools into/from the tool magazine. Start and monitor machining operations, adjusting parameters as needed. Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications. Make adjustments to the machine settings to optimize machining processes.
