Job Summary

Mechanical Engineering Data Analyst

engineering drawings, 3D CAD models (Creo)

Roles & Responsibilities

Extract and capture
technical part/component data
from drawings and catalogs
Maintain clean, accurate datasets in
Excel databases
Perform
attribute cleansing and standardization
as per industry standards
Work with high-volume data (customer/supplier/items/pricing attributes)
Ensure data is processed
right first time
, within timelines
Coordinate with stakeholders for clarification and best practice alignment
Maintain detailed
work instructions / SOP documentation
Track and record daily productivity and quality metrics
Support automation and process optimization initiatives

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

Strong understanding of
mechanical components / commodities
Knowledge of parts attributes for commodities like:

Castings
Heat Exchangers
Wire Harness
Similar mechanical parts

Ability to interpret
engineering drawings (2D)
Hands-on exposure to
Creo
(3D model & drawing analysis)
Strong MS Excel skills (large data handling, validation, formatting)
Basic understanding of
manufacturing processes
Good communication & attention to detail
