Body Engineering-Design

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the design and development of Body parts like Fuel Tank, Sheet metal covers, Mirror, Latches, scooter and motorcycle models. Your release responsibility will cover conceptualisation, design, and development of Body parts for motorcycles and scooters, either in-house or for external projects. You will be tasked with resolving development issues to meet all agreed project targets concerning product, timing, quality, and cost from the pre-development phase up to SOP. Key Responsibilities: - Timely release of Design as per Project schedule - CAD modelling and release of drawings - Verify Packaging and Prepare BOM for every drawing release - Develop and Prepare Quality documents of Design in respect of CTQ targets - Conduct DFMEA, DFA, and DFM - Resolve issues reported during development of parts - Interact with plant and Quality Teams - Work on new ideas and innovation concepts striving for patents - Develop company design standards for Body Engineering Qualification Required: - B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Additional Details about Hero MotoCorp: Hero MotoCorp is the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for the last 22 years.
