BMT Nurse HCG Cancer Hospital, Borivali

Location:

Qualification:

Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Nurse

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to BMT patients (assessment, monitoring, documentation).
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications safely.
Assist with stem cell infusion and manage central lines (PICC, Hickman, Port).
Monitor for transplant-related complications such as GVHD, infections, and organ toxicities.
Educate patients and families on transplant procedures, post-transplant recovery, and infection prevention.
Coordinate care with physicians, transplant coordinators, pharmacists, and other team members.
Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital protocols and safety standards.
Provide emotional support and ensure patient comfort during all stages of treatment.

Required Skills

Strong clinical and assessment skills
Experience in oncology/hematology/BMT preferred
Ability to handle high-acuity and immunocompromised patients
Excellent communication and teamwork
Knowledge of chemotherapy and infection-control practices

Eligibility

Registered Nurse with valid license
B.Sc Nursing / GNM
OCN/BMTCN certification (preferred, not mandatory)
15 years of experience in Oncology, Hematology, ICU, or BMT nursing
