This role will focus on assisting in project execution, documentation management, and research within the carbon industry, specifically around sustainability and carbon offset programs. The trainee will gain valuable experience in the growing field of carbon management, contributing to efforts to reduce carbon emissions and promote environmental sustainability.Key Responsibilities:Carbon Credit Documentation: Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining documentation for carbon credit certification, ensuring all records are accurate and in compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.Operational Support: Provide assistance in day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring the timely execution of carbon-related projects and follow-up on outstanding work to ensure project milestones are met.Research & Analysis: Conduct research and provide analysis on carbon markets, carbon offset methodologies, and best practices in environmental sustainability, supporting ongoing carbon management initiatives.Data Management: Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to carbon emissions reductions, carbon credits, and sustainability metrics for various projects.Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations team and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination for the successful implementation of carbon reduction projects.Required Skills & Competencies:Quick Learner: Ability to adapt to new concepts and processes in the carbon industry and environmental sustainability.Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for preparing reports, data analysis, and documentation.Environmental Awareness: A foundational understanding of carbon management practices, carbon credit mechanisms, and environmental sustainability issues.Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy when managing project documentation and tracking carbon-related data.Team-Oriented: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet project goals.
