Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary BlueYonder Transportation Management System (TMS) Architect to lead the technical strategy, design, and implementation of our TMS platform. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in BlueYonder TMS on SaaS with Platform Data Cloud (PDC), microservices, and cloud-native architecture.Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience building TM integrations in microservices
• Strong cloud experience (GCP preferred)
• Expertise in API development and event-driven frameworks
• Hands-on with BlueYonder TMS on SaaS with PDC (via BYDM)
• Solid understanding of data cloud architecture
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies: RedShift, Power BI, Lambda, SQL

Role Responsibilities:

• Architect and own the end-to-end BlueYonder TMS SaaS with PDC solution
• Align TMS architecture with enterprise IT and business strategy
• Lead integration efforts between BY TMS and ERPs, WMS, OMS, Control Towers, Carrier APIs, and EDI platforms
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts: diagrams, data flows, integration specs, and standards
• Act as the top technical authority for BY TMS projects (greenfield, upgrades, enhancements)
• Mentor developers, analysts, and administrators
• Conduct solution design workshops and propose optimal configurations
• Make strategic decisions on customization vs. configuration
• Stay updated on BY TMS roadmaps and industry trends

Required Experience:

• 14+ years hands-on with BlueYonder TMS
• 4+ years as a Solution Architect, leading 2–3 full-lifecycle implementations
• Experience with cloud-first architecture (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable)
• Deep knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture (message queues, pub/sub systems)
