Job Title: Factory General Manager Location: Panoli – Ankaleshwar, Gujarat Reports To: Managing Director Job Type: Full Time Industry: Plastic Manufacturing, Pharma, Agrochemical, Industrial chemical Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Factory General Manager to oversee daily operations at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will lead entire team all departments including production, maintenance, tool room, PPC, Stores, Despatch etc. He should ensure efficient workflows, maintain high-quality standards, and drive operational excellence while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day factory operations. Optimize manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity. Develop and implement production schedules in line with business goals. Team Leadership: Lead and manage department heads including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics. Foster a high-performance culture through effective leadership, coaching, and team development. Ensure staff adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies. Quality & Compliance: Ensure products meet or exceed quality standards. Oversee implementation of quality control systems and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, cost control, and resource planning. Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvement strategies to meet financial targets. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term strategy and capacity planning. Identify and implement new technologies, equipment, or methods to improve production. Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted production. Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). 20+ years of manufacturing or factory management experience, with at least 15+ in a senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills: Strong analytical and financial acumen. Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
