The Resident Medical Officer in WARD/ICU, Emergency (RMO) is responsible for providing continuous medical care to inpatients and emergency cases. The RMO collaborates with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and timely patient management. Key Responsibilities: Provide immediate medical attention to patients in emergency or critical condition. Conduct daily rounds for inpatients and monitor their condition. Assist consultants in procedures and surgeries when required. Prescribe appropriate treatment plans based on diagnosis and patient history. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate care with nursing staff. Communicate with patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and progress. Monitor and report changes in patients’ health to senior doctors. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, health and safety regulations. Manage post-operative care and provide follow-up instructions. Qualifications: MBBS degree from a recognized medical college. Registration with the Medical Council, preferable from West Bengal Medical Registration mandatory . Intern are not allowed 1–3 years of clinical experience (can vary based on hospital requirements). Basic knowledge of emergency care, critical care, and hospital protocols. Skills: Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
