Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: ₹25,000 to 30000 per month plus site allowance Job Purpose: To carry out ultrasonic thickness gauging (UTG) and hull structure measurements on ships, offshore structures, and industrial assets, ensuring compliance with class, statutory, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Perform hull thickness gauging (UTG) on ships, offshore platforms, tanks, and structures using approved ultrasonic equipment. Record and report thickness measurements in accordance with class society and client formats. Interpret UTG data to assess corrosion levels, material wastage, and structural integrity. Assist in hull condition surveys, dry dock inspections, and in-service inspections. Ensure inspection activities comply with safety regulations and company quality procedures. Maintain calibration records and ensure proper functioning of UTG equipment. Prepare detailed inspection reports with sketches, tables, and photographs.
