The **Senior Accountant** will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient bookkeeping. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting functions, preparing financial statements, ensuring GST compliance, handling export and local invoicing, and coordinating with auditors. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in accounting standards and tax regulations. ### **Key Responsibilities** #### **1. Accounting & Bookkeeping** - Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness. - Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer). - Ensure proper recording of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards. - Monitor cash flow and manage working capital efficiently. #### **2. Financial Reporting & Analysis** - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). - Generate management reports with key financial insights for decision-making. - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and company policies. #### **3. GST & Tax Compliance** - Ensure accurate and timely GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns). - Handle GST reconciliations, input tax credit (ITC) claims, and refund processes. - Liaise with tax consultants and authorities for assessments, audits, and queries. - Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure compliance. #### **4. Invoicing (Export & Local)** - Prepare and verify export invoices with proper documentation (Shipping Bills, E-Way Bills, etc.). - Ensure compliance with **FEMA, RBI, and DGFT** regulations for export transactions. - Issue local invoices with correct GST treatment (CGST, SGST, IGST). - Manage e-invoicing and e-way bill generation as per regulatory requirements. #### **5. Audit & Internal Controls** - Coordinate with **internal and external auditors** for statutory, tax, and internal audits. - Prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor queries, and ensure timely closure. - Implement and monitor internal financial controls to prevent discrepancies. #### **6. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance** - Ensure compliance with **Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements**. - File TDS returns, issue Form 16A, and handle withholding tax matters. - Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections. #### **7. ERP & Process Improvement** - Work with accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.). - Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. ### **Qualifications & Skills** - **Education:** CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) or B.Com with relevant experience. - **Experience:** 5+ years in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing/trading/export-oriented company. - **Technical Skills:** - Strong knowledge of **GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting standards**. - Proficiency in **MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Formulas)** and accounting software. - Experience in **export documentation and forex accounting** is a plus. - **Soft Skills:** - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and coordination skills. - Ability to work under deadlines with high accuracy. ### **Why Join Us?** - Opportunity to work in a **dynamic and growth-oriented environment**. - Exposure to **end-to-end accounting, compliance, and financial reporting**. - Competitive salary and benefits package.
