The Powder Coating Supervisor oversees the powder coating process to ensure the timely and quality application of coatings to various products. This role involves leading a team of operators, Helpers, scheduling work orders, maintaining equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities: Supervise a team of Operators, providing guidance and support as needed. Schedule and prioritize work orders to meet production deadlines. Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, including guns, ovens, and booths. Monitor coating thickness, color consistency, and adherence to quality standards. Train new technicians on powder coating techniques and safety procedures. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs as necessary. Maintain inventory of coating materials and order supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with production and quality control teams to optimize processes and resolve issues. Keep accurate records of production activities, including coating usage and equipment maintenance.
