Our platform uses a hybrid diagnostic model that combines advanced skin imaging, questionnaire-based root-cause assessments, and a scientifically validated ingredient matrix to recommend tailored routines. We are developing a data-driven, digital first skincare assessment tool that leverages dermatological research, clinical actives, and AI-driven analysis. Role Description We need an AI/ML Engineer to join us for 3-6 months initially (with potential to convert to full-time founding team member) to: Design and set up the core database architecture (customer data, image data, ingredient library, diagnostic logic). Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure clean, structured, and scalable data flows. Collaborate with experts to design a schema that maps skin concerns ↔ ingredients ↔ routines . Implement best practices for data security, storage, and access control . Gradually prototype and train AI/ML models Deploy models into production and integrate with the customer-facing platform. Document processes and ensure scalability as the system grows. Qualifications 2–3 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Engineering, or related fields. Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn . Experience with database design and management (SQL + NoSQL). Hands-on experience with data pipelines/ETL tools . Familiarity with ML frameworks ( TensorFlow, PyTorch ) and model deployment. Understanding of APIs and integrations with web platforms. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Bonus: Experience with computer vision or recommendation systems .

Role Description We are looking for a Cosmetic Chemist or Formulation Scientist to help clean and verify ingredient data in our skincare tech database. Our database focuses on ingredients, and we need someone with the right technical background to ensure the data is accurate, compliant, and consistent. 🔬 What you’ll do: Review and verify ingredient information (INCI name, CAS number, function, usage level, solubility, pH, etc.) Cross-check data with reputable public sources Flag restricted or banned ingredients (EU, US, UK, India) Standardize and clean ingredient data for accuracy and consistency 👩🔬 Who you are: Background in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or Formulation Development Knowledge of INCI nomenclature and global cosmetic regulations Detail-oriented and comfortable working with data tools (Excel, Airtable, Notion, etc.) Experience with OTC skincare or cosmetic formulations is a plus 📍 Freelance / Remote 🕐 Part-time or project-based (approx. 30–100 hours depending on scope)
