Job Summary: Orchids The International School is looking for a passionate and experienced TGT Biology Teacher to join our dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging biology lessons to middle and high school students (Grades 610), following the CBSE curriculum and incorporating activity-based, experiential learning methods. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver well-structured biology lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum. Use innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement and understanding. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments. Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback. Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure safety protocols are followed. Maintain discipline in the classroom and ensure a safe learning environment. Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to support academic planning and student development. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and staff development programs. Monitor and track student progress using digital tools and student management systems. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology (B.Sc./M.Sc.) with a B.Ed. experience teaching Biology in a CBSE school preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Proficient in using smart boards, MS Office, and online learning platforms (Google Classroom, Zoom, etc.). Passionate about teaching and student development.
