As the Manager of the EHS Function at Teva Pharmaceuticals, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the occupational health and safety of employees at the Gajraula, India location. You will oversee various tasks to eliminate exposure and ergonomic risks in new projects and modifications. Collaborating with management, you will provide advice to resolve occupational health issues and create studies to monitor employees" exposure to health risks. Your role will involve overseeing biological monitoring programs, analyzing research data, and compiling reports to measure the effectiveness of occupational health programs. You will propose and implement programs to protect employee health, including ergonomics, while ensuring awareness of occupational health and safety concerns, programs, and regulations among employees. In case of incidents or occupational health trends, you will investigate and prepare reports, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Additionally, you will lead audits and inspections in the Occupational Health Center and Industrial Hygiene area, ensuring compliance at all times. Preparation of Safety, Hygiene, and Occupational Health Reports, along with updating and documenting standard operating procedures related to the safety department, will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.Tech/B.E in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry along with a Diploma/Certification in Industrial Hygiene. With 12-15 years of relevant experience, you should possess a good understanding of API manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements, and process safety elements. As you report to the AD EHS, your expertise in industrial hygiene and occupational health will be crucial in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for Teva Pharmaceuticals employees.
