Identify and engage with formulation companies, CROs, and bulk drug manufacturers for product promotion Develop and execute territory-wise sales strategies for raw materials (e.g., APIs, excipients) and lab instruments (e.g., HPLC, dissolution testers, balances) Conduct technical presentations and product demos to R&D and QC teams Collaborate with application specialists and product managers for customized solutions Maintain strong relationships with purchase heads, scientists, and decision-makers Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine sales approach Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, logistics, and regulatory documentation (COA, MSDS, etc.) Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and report performance metrics Participate in industry exhibitions, seminars, and vendor meets Ensure compliance with pharma-grade quality standards and customer SOPs Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Engineering 4–6 years of experience in B2B sales of pharma raw materials or lab instruments Strong technical understanding of analytical instruments and formulation processes Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Familiarity with CRM tools, ERP systems, and regulatory documentation Ability to travel extensively and manage client relationships independently Preferred Attributes Experience selling to formulation R&D, QC labs, or procurement teams Knowledge of ICH guidelines, GMP documentation, and pharma-grade certifications Network of contacts in pharma hubs like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, or Mumbai Commercial acumen with solution-oriented mindset
