Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our road construction projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the construction industry, strong knowledge of project costing, GST/TDS compliance, and hands-on expertise in Tally and Excel. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and project-wise financial records. Prepare client and subcontractor bills, track RA bills, retention, and advances. Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance, including filing returns and challans. Handle project costing, budgeting, and expense tracking across multiple sites. Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company adjustments. Oversee material accounting – cement, steel, aggregates, fuel, and plant expenses. Support audit processes and ensure timely submission of financial statements. Manage bank transactions, BGs, FDs, and coordinate with finance teams. Prepare monthly MIS and cost analysis reports for management review. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. 4–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in road/civil construction). Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and MS Excel . Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and project-based accounting. Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and ability to handle multi-site coordination.
