BIM Technician - Telecom

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for transforming engineering designs into precise and detailed BIM models for various projects. You will be tasked with creating and managing 3D models of Electrical, ELV, and Control & Instrumentation systems, with additional experience in Mechanical, Wet Services, Fire Services, and Medical Gas Services being beneficial. Collaboration with engineers and stakeholders is essential to ensure the accurate representation of system components within the BIM models. You will be required to incorporate design changes and updates according to project specifications, as well as ensuring that the BIM models align with project timelines and requirements by coordinating with the project team. Clash detection and coordination issue resolution across multiple services such as HVAC, Fire, Civil, Wet Services, and Structural elements will also be part of your responsibilities. Staying informed about industry standards and best practices for BIM modelling in Electrical, ELV, and Control & Instrumentation is crucial. Attention to detail and the ability to handle multi-service coordination are key aspects of this role. You will participate in site meetings during construction to update designs and models with engineers and contractors. Demonstrating innovation in BIM applications and internal operational enhancements will be advantageous, including the development of BIM families.,
