BIM Technician - ELV

The successful candidate will have a crucial role in transforming engineering designs into precise and detailed BIM models for projects. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining 3D models of Electrical, ELV, and Control & Instrumentation systems. Experience in other services like Mechanical, Wet Services, Fire Services, and Medical Gas Services will be beneficial. Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders is essential to ensure accurate representation of system components. Implementing design changes and updates to BIM models in line with project requirements is a key responsibility. Coordination with the project team is necessary to ensure BIM models align with project timelines and specifications. Conducting clash detection and resolving coordination issues with various services such as HVAC, Fire, Civil, Wet Services, and Structural elements is part of the role. Keeping abreast of industry standards and best practices for BIM modeling in Electrical, ELV, and Control & Instrumentation is important. Attention to detail and the ability to perform and understand multi-service coordination are critical skills for this role. Attending site meetings during construction with engineers and contractors for updating designs and models is required. Bringing innovation for BIM purposes and internal operational developments is encouraged, and indicating innovative ideas in the CV would be advantageous.
