BIM Technician - Dry Utilities

The role involves designing and performing BIM Modelling for a specific design discipline under the supervision or direction of the BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of models and drawings based on BIM standards and project workflow criteria, cleaning up and synchronizing models/drawings to the cloud collaboration platform daily, completing productions on schedule, reporting progress to the BIM Lead or BIM Coordinator, recording exported information in the correct directory, implementing Quality Control, supporting the Company's SHEQ, collaborating with other disciplines on design and model changes, adhering to BEP and BIM project workflow criteria, following BIM content standards and development procedures, setting up Seed and Model Templates, publishing drawing sets for team review and mark-up, and preparing discipline models/content for BIM coordination meetings. Key competencies and skills required for the role include: - Minimum of 4 years experience in BIM modelling on dry utilities - Degree or diploma in electrical relevant to the BIM modeler position - Certification and experience in Civil3D and Navisworks - Experience in collaborative work on a cloud CDE The ideal candidate for this role should possess the mandatory skills mentioned above and be able to effectively carry out the responsibilities outlined for the position.,
