Join us. AECOM is currently recruiting for the role of BIM Manager based in the Romania Enterprise Capabilities office in Bucharest. This position is responsible for managing the implementation of BIM and Information Management on water projects for Enterprise Capabilities, and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, incorporating a combination of both in-office and remote working schedules.
Roles and Responsibilities
BIM Implementation Strategy – develop BIM Implementation strategy & deliver complex international projects CDE Management – establish & administer the CDE & support efficient management of multi-stakeholder projects Project Management – coordinate BIM execution & project delivery with project leadership BIM Execution – create & maintain the project’s industry framework docsBEP, MIDP, MPDT, appendices etc Technical Support – establish data integrated workflows for w water projects & provide support, guidance & training to project teams Digital Technology & Content Management – oversee the production of smart object content, templates & libraries in the context of the project, deploy the use of AECOM’s content management system (Autodesk Content Catalog/UNIFI) onto projects and manage the best practice use of digital technology for collaboration, coordination & delivery Quality – establish & administer the digital quality assurance control procedures Collaboration – be an ambassador for a global group working with AECOM region project teams, Enterprise Capabilities office disciplines & other Enterprise Capabilities Digital departments.

Qualifications
Minimum
Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards Experience managing and delivering project information on multidisciplinary Water projects with geographically dispersed teamsExperience delivering BIM data from Civil and Structural design and BIM software such as any of the followingRevit, Civil3D, InfraWorks, OpenRoads, OpenRailExperience working and administering a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or Bentley ProjectWiseExperience executing multi-discipline coordination, clash detection and issue management and an advanced user of any of the followingAutodesk Navisworks, Revizto, ACC Model Coordination.Strong background in technical production of 3D and 2D model deliverables for Water projects, as well as civil structures and utilitiesVisual programming – preferred, working knowledge of Dynamo, Bentley Generative Components and/or GrasshopperDemonstratable a portfolio of BIM for Water projectsInternational experience working with global project teams. Experience working on projects in any of the followingAustralia, USA, Canada, UK, and Ireland, Middle East and/or Asia will be considered favourable.Communication - Fluent in English (oral and written), a team player and mentor, with exceptional interpersonal skills
Professional Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or a related discipline project execution or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.10+ years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field. Must have previous formal multidiscipline BIM Manager/Coordinator role experience.
