BIM Engineer (REVIT HVAC)

Role Overview: As a BIM Senior Engineer in the Facilities Department at TECNICAS REUNIDAS group (TR), your main function will involve designing and modeling HVAC systems. You will be responsible for creating parametric families, views, styles, and extracting drawings from the model. Additionally, you will play a secondary role in designing and modeling Fire & Gas systems, Telecom systems, Cable Trays/Trenches/Ductbanks, and Cables. Key Responsibilities: - Have in-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment, including how the equipment functions and how they should be connected to ducts or pipes. - Apply criteria for designing ducting, such as velocity and duct dimensions, placement of fire dampers, and proper location of diffusion devices for air distribution. - Select different elements based on airflow, drop pressure, and sound level for HVAC systems. - Create parametric families, views, styles, etc., for BIM modeling. - Extract drawings from the model for documentation purposes. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC system design. - At least 5 years of experience in BIM methodology. - Advanced experience with REVIT MEP software. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation. - Optional: Knowledge of HVAC systems, F&G systems, and Telecom systems. - Optional: Experience with E3D/PDMS and SP3D software. - Ability to travel occasionally.
