Procurement & Sourcing Manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical equipment and spare parts for: DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) Plant CPP (Captive Power Plant) BoP equipment for Power Plant SMS (Steel Melting Shop) including furnaces, CCM, cranes, etc. Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors (domestic & international). Ensure competitive price discovery through RFQ, techno-commercial comparison, negotiation, and finalization. 2. Technical & Commercial Evaluation Work closely with mechanical, electrical, projects & operations departments to understand specifications. Verify technical compliance of vendor offers with engineering requirements. Prepare cost analysis, justification notes, and procurement approvals. 3. Strategic Procurement & Cost Optimization Develop long-term rate contracts and strategic sourcing plans. Implement cost-saving initiatives, alternate sourcing, and localization.
