Bid & Marketing Controller

Your role

As a Bid & Marketing Controller, you will play a central role in our Marketing & Sales organization. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing bid activities while also overseeing market analysis, sales forecasts, and budget follow-up. This role is critical in supporting successful business opportunities – following Saab’s established processes, particularly the Winning Business framework.
You will work closely with Product Sales Responsibles (PSRs), product managers, project teams, and marketing functions both locally and globally.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and planning bid and proposal processes according to the Winning Business process
• Coordinating and reporting the Order Intake Forecast
• Following up on and analyzing marketing and sales KPIs
• Acting as CRM superuser and providing system support
• Monitoring marketing budgets and cost center reporting
• Preparing and reporting for Business Board meetings
• Providing key insights and data for business plans, marketing strategy, and long-term order planning and financial business planning
• Participating in business scenario planning and strategic discussions

Your profile

We believe you are structured, business-oriented, and thrive in a role that moves between strategy and hands-on execution. You have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to turn data into actionable insights, actively contributing to our business success.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in leading bid/proposal processes and providing business support, preferably in defense or industrial sectors
• Strong understanding of business processes and market analysis
• Strong skills in business systems – Excel and preferably Dynamics CRM
• A relevant university degree in economics, engineering, or industrial management
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
• Familiarity with structured process frameworks like Winning Business is a plus

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
