Role & responsibilities Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Geospatial Data Delivery Analyst to support and manage the delivery of scheduled geospatial data to our customers. This role involves a combination of automated and manual data processing tasks, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to documented procedures. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a keen eye for data accuracy, and proficiency in tools such as FME. Key Responsibilities: Manage and execute scheduled geospatial data deliveries to customers, including both automated and manual processes. Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on automated data outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency. Follow well-documented procedures for manual data delivery, ensuring timelines and data integrity are met. Work with various geospatial data types, ensuring appropriate handling, transformation, and formatting as per client requirements. Utilize FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) for geospatial data transformation and workflow automation. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers regarding data delivery schedules, issues, and resolutions. Identify and troubleshoot errors or inconsistencies in geospatial datasets and escalate when necessary. Contribute to process improvement by documenting issues, suggesting optimizations, and supporting automation initiatives. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proven experience with FME and working with geospatial data types (e.g., shapefiles, GeoJSON, raster data). Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to data QA and validation. Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, to coordinate across teams and with clients. Ability to follow structured processes while also identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Familiarity with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or QGIS. Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, SQL) in a data processing context. Understanding of data delivery workflows in cloud or enterprise environments. Why Join Us?
