BI Solutions Architect

As a BI Solutions Architect at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solution projects. Your technical proficiency will be instrumental in collaborating across teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Design and architect end-to-end BI solutions, encompassing data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and reporting platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. - Lead and manage a team of BI developers effectively. - Define and enforce BI standards, policies, and best practices. - Utilize your strong experience in ETL/ELT processes and data integration to enhance project outcomes. - Collaborate closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Optimize SQL queries and enhance the performance of existing BI reports and data models. - Maintain and update the data warehouse to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Troubleshoot data-related issues and address any report generation problems. - Support ad-hoc reporting needs and conduct data analysis to offer insights for decision-making. - Coordinate with other IT teams such as Database Administrators and Data Analysts to maintain data consistency and quality. - Stay updated with the latest BI tools and technologies to suggest improvements or upgrades. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of experience as a BI Solutions Architect. - Proficiency in BI tools and technologies like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, SQL, and cloud-based data warehouses. - Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle. - Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools like SSIS, Talend, and Informatica. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and architecture. - Understanding of data modeling techniques and data structures. - Ability to effectively communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
