We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. You will be the driving force behind our video content, transforming raw footage and concepts into compelling, shareable, and educational videos for our social media channels (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and our primary YouTube channel. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for visual storytelling, a great sense of pacing, and a genuine interest in astrology, numerology, and spiritual wellness. You aren't just an editor; you are a partner in our mission to make this ancient wisdom accessible and engaging for a modern audience. What You'll Do Edit, assemble, and produce high-quality, engaging video content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos. Transform concepts, scripts, and raw footage into polished, story-driven narratives. Add dynamic text overlays, titles, and motion graphics to explain complex topics clearly (e.g., numerology calculations, astrological concepts, name corrections). Select and skillfully integrate appropriate background music, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance the viewing experience. Ensure all video content is consistent with the Bhavishyavaani brand identity, tone, and visual style. Reformat and optimize videos for different platforms and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9). Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends and platform features, particularly in the wellness and spirituality space. Collaborate with our founder/content team to brainstorm and develop new video ideas. Organize and maintain our digital video asset library. What You'll Bring (Qualifications) Required: Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing your work (please include a link). Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve ). Experience with motion graphics and text animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects ) ~ optional A strong understanding of social media video formats, especially short-form (Reels, Shorts). Excellent sense of pacing, timing, and visual composition. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit. Preferred (Nice-to-Have): A personal interest in or passion for astrology, numerology, Vastu, or related mystical sciences. Experience creating content in the spirituality, wellness, or educational niche. Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) for creating thumbnails.
