Job Title: Design Engineer Location: Kollam, Kerala Job Description: We are looking for a Project Design Engineer to join our team in Kollam. The ideal candidate should have a basic foundation in electrical design, switchgear systems, and KSEB standards . Candidates holding a valid Inspectorate Supervisor License (Class A or B) will be given preference. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review electrical design drawings, panel layouts, and SLDs . Coordinate with clients, vendors, and site teams for project execution. Ensure all designs comply with KSEB regulations and safety standards. Prepare material lists, BOQs, and as-built drawings . Qualifications & Requirements: Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (mandatory). Inspectorate Supervisor License (Class A or B) – preferred. Certification in AutoCAD (Electrical) – preferred. Basic knowledge of switchgear systems and electrical drawing preparation . Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of LT/HT panels, VFDs, MCCs, and PLC interfacing . Experience in project estimation and site coordination . Understanding of earthing, cable sizing, and protection schemes .
