Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Assistant Sales Manager with experience in the steel industry to support our sales operations. The role involves generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, assisting in strategic sales planning, and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Generate leads, identify new business opportunities, and convert prospects into clients. Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential customers. Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. Support contract negotiations, prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations. Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction. Track sales performance, prepare MIS/reports, and provide updates to management. Attend client meetings, trade fairs, and industry events for business development. Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and credit guidelines. Qualifications & Skills Any graduation preferred. 4-10 years of experience in sales/business development within the steel/metal/industrial products sector . Strong knowledge of steel products (structural steel, coils, sheets, fabrication, or related). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong analytical skills and customer-focused mindset.
