1. Accounts Payable Management Timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. Ensuring proper verification, approvals, and documentation. Maintaining accurate records of outstanding payables. Ensuring no overdue payments and adherence to credit terms. 2. Accounts Receivable & Billing Timely preparation and issuance of invoices/bills. Follow-up and collection of payments within defined credit periods. Maintaining updated debtor ageing reports. Reducing outstanding receivables and bad debts. 3. Bank Reconciliation Daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliation of all accounts. Identification and rectification of mismatches on time. Ensuring accuracy of cash and bank balances. 4. General Ledger Maintenance Posting of journal entries with supporting documents. Monthly closing of books as per schedule. Ensuring accuracy and completeness of ledger balances. 5. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance Timely preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory requirements. Ensuring correct tax deductions, documentation, and compliance with applicable laws. Maintaining updated records for audits. 6. Financial Reporting Preparation of monthly MIS reports (P&L, cash flow, ageing, etc.). Providing accurate reports to management within deadlines. Supporting budgeting and variance analysis. 8. Documentation & Record Management Maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation of vouchers, invoices, and ledgers. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Proper digital and physical record-keeping for easy retrieval. 9. Process Improvement & Controls Identifying gaps in accounting processes and suggesting improvements. Strengthening internal financial controls. Ensuring accuracy, transparency, and discipline in financial operations.
