Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and be proficient in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial management to support business decisions. Duties Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with accounting principles. Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers. Conduct financial accounting tasks including reconciliations and audits as required. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with organisational objectives. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Qualifications Proven experience in an accounting role within the financial services sector. Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting. Ability to mentor junior staff members effectively. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
