Role Overview The General Manager Jewellery will be responsible for overseeing the entire jewellery business operations, including sales, retail outlets, manufacturing, finance, HR, and customer service. The role requires strong leadership to ensure profitability, operational excellence, compliance with industry standards, and growth of the jewellery brand. Key Responsibilities 1. Business & Operations Manage day-to-day operations of all jewellery showrooms and back-office functions. Ensure compliance with industry standards (BIS, Hallmarking, Gold Purity, GST). Monitor inventory, procurement, supply chain, and stock management. Maintain showroom ambience, visual merchandising, and customer experience. 2. Sales & Growth Drive sales targets and implement business growth strategies. Design and execute seasonal offers, promotions, and customer loyalty programs. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. Explore new business opportunities and expansion (franchise, e-commerce, etc.). 3. Finance & Administration Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor revenue, expenses, discounts, and ensure profitability. Coordinate with finance team, auditors, and banks for smooth operations. 4. Customer Service & Brand Building Ensure premium customer service, after-sales support, and complaint resolution. Build long-term customer relationships and handle VIP client engagement. Promote brand identity and maintain high standards across all outlets. 5. Strategic Planning Formulate long-term business plans to achieve growth and market leadership. Innovate with product designs, collections, and jewellery trends. Develop digital strategies for online sales and social media marketing. Establish partnerships with designers, suppliers, and corporate clients . Key Skills & Competencies Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills. In-depth knowledge of jewellery retail operations and manufacturing processes. Excellent financial acumen, budgeting, and P&L management. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills. Ability to adapt to market trends and implement innovative business strategies.
