Role & responsibilities : - Conduct routine sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods. -COA generation in SAP . - Maintain detailed records of all tests, results, and calibration data. - Monitor batch-to-batch consistency and take corrective actions when deviations occur. - Supervise manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to SOPs. -Investigate customer complaints related to product performance. -Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive actions. - Work closely with Production, R&D, and Sales for quality-related inputs and resolutions. - Evaluate and audit key suppliers to ensure consistent quality of raw materials Preferred candidate profile: Min. 4 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in paint, coatings, or chemical manufacturing. Experience with in-process quality checks , final product validation , and customer complaint handling. Strong knowledge of paint formulations , raw materials (pigments, resins, solvents), and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in testing parameters like viscosity, density, gloss, adhesion, drying time, hiding power, etc. Understanding of ISO 9001 , BIS standards, and environmental & safety compliance Hands-on experience with quality documentation , CoA generation , and root cause analysis (RCA). Soft Skills: Attention to detail and a proactive mindset. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to work collaboratively with production, R&D, and commercial teams. Comfortable working in a shop floor/lab environment.
