Job Title : Purchase & Billing Executive Location : Karunagappally Employment Type : Full-time Reports To : Operations Manager / Accounts Manager Job Summary : Salad Caffe is looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Purchase & Billing Executive to manage procurement, vendor coordination, and billing activities. The ideal candidate should be experienced in inventory tracking, purchasing, and billing procedures, with strong communication and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities : Purchasing : Source and procure daily inventory of vegetables, fruits, groceries, packaging materials, and other kitchen essentials. Identify and maintain relationships with local and wholesale vendors. Negotiate prices, ensure timely delivery, and evaluate supplier performance. Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock. Track market prices and suggest cost-effective alternatives without compromising on quality. Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders, goods received notes, and vendor invoices. Billing & Records : Maintain accurate records of daily purchases and expenses. Prepare and reconcile vendor bills and forward them to the accounts department for payments. Coordinate with the accounts team for timely vendor payments and expense tracking. Monitor billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Maintain and update vendor database and contact details. Inventory & Coordination : Work closely with kitchen staff to forecast inventory needs. Monitor stock usage and implement controls to minimize waste. Coordinate with outlet managers for inventory transfers and billing adjustments. Generate weekly and monthly purchase and billing reports. Qualifications & Skills : Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in purchase and billing, preferably in the food & beverage industry. Strong knowledge of procurement and billing systems. Familiarity with Excel, Tally, or other accounting and inventory tools. Good negotiation, communication, and time management skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
