Role & Responsibilities: Design and build RESTful web service APIs in Java to support web applications and partner integrations. Work collaboratively in an Agile environment to deliver business solutions. Continuously improve products and processes. Develop clean, documented, testable code using JUnit, Postman, and Swagger following TDD principles. Build high-performance services and troubleshoot performance issues across all system layers. Use web frameworks like Spring Boot / Spring MVC. Design database schemas and write SQL queries in Oracle or similar RDBMS. Work with tools like Eclipse, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and servers like WebSphere. Implement SSO and web service integrations using SAML and SOAP. Work with API security and authorization through an API Gateway like Tyk. Provide technical guidance, conduct design/code reviews, and support team deliverables. Preferred Candidate Profile: 5+ years of software development experience in Java. Minimum 2 years of experience in developing RESTful Web Services.
