About the Role :We are looking for a detail-oriented Selenium Automation Tester with 3-5 years of experience in designing and maintaining automated test frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through automation, regression testing, and continuous integration practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
• Analyze user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to create test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps / Bugzilla.
• Automate regression, smoke, and functional test cases.
• Execute test scripts and validate application functionality across browsers.
• Develop and integrate automation scripts within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Maintain test documentation and generate execution reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Java (preferred), Python, or C#.
• Experience with TestNG / JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Page Object Model (POM).
• Good understanding of manual testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with version control tools : Git / Bitbucket / GitHub.
• Knowledge of REST API testing using Postman / RestAssured is a plus.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools : Jenkins / GitLab CI.
• Experience testing responsive UI, cross-browser compatibility, and web applications.
  

Good To Have

• Experience with Cucumber / BDD frameworks.
• Exposure to Selenium Grid, Docker, and parallel execution.
• Experience with cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is an advantage.
• Understanding of SQL for backend validation.
