As the manager of sales activities for the PS business in South Asia at BD, your role will involve closely collaborating with the internal team and key accounts to optimize sales opportunities and meet the sales targets for PS South Asia. You will also be responsible for identifying market potential and formulating strategic plans for the business unit. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across various functions such as supply chain, logistics, pricing, billing, quality, technical, and marketing is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing strategies based on a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs - Identifying product requirements and providing recommendations for enhancing products and services - Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders including C-Suite, Packaging and Development, Device Development team, Portfolio team, Quality, technical, and other relevant personnel from different accounts - Conducting regular meetings with key accounts to address their needs, concerns, competitor activities, etc. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams like marketing, technical support, and training to deliver value-added services to customers - Providing insights and working closely with the Commercial Development team on new projects and revenue-generating initiatives - Monitoring sales performance, updating forecasts regularly, and managing expenses within budget constraints - Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements related to sales processes Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Science/Pharmacy (Preferred) or Commerce - Master's degree in Business Administration - Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (B2B in devices, API, or other related Pharma packaging) (Preferred) - Over 15 years of overall experience including Business Development or Marketing roles - Previous experience in engaging with large institutions, HODs, and Key Opinion Leaders - Strong presentation skills and effective communication abilities - Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) - Ability to independently plan and execute tasks - Prior experience in People Leadership roles Join us at BD to be part of a culture that promotes learning, growth, and making a positive impact on the world by reinventing the future of health.
