Job Title: Sales Coordinator Company: BD Industries Location: Chembur, Mumbai Employment Type: Full-time in office About BD Industries BDI Group (of companies) is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified organization manufacturing plastic products in mumbai since over 35 years. We manufacture over 500 products and cater to 8 different industries including custom rotational moulding. We are vendors to leading Automotive companies for fuels tanks, in-cab parts, fenders, roof tops, adblue tanks etc. BDI also manufactures various kinds of road barriers and other allied products for the safety industry. For material handling products we manufacture the entire range of plastic pallets (with foam/ without foam/with steel reinforcement). Dustbins, Twin bins, Garbage Chutes, Hospital furniture are some of the other products BDI does. Our speciality lies in custom moulding and developing newer concepts and products right from the “sketch off a napkin”. With 5 plants in western, northern and southern India, BDI is well poised to serve customers PAN India. Role Overview The Sales Coordinator will act as the vital link between the marketing team, sales team, and production plant. This role involves managing incoming leads, coordinating order requirements, and ensuring smooth delivery to customers. Key Responsibilities Handle and call leads generated by the marketing team, providing timely responses and product information. Assist the sales team in following up with clients and converting inquiries into confirmed orders. Coordinate with the production plant to ensure accurate order processing, timelines, and delivery schedules. Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales orders, and delivery status. Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery updates, and resolve basic queries. Support the sales team with quotations, invoices, and other documentation as required. Track and update sales performance reports for management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, customer support, or inside sales (manufacturing/industrial sector preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal & written). Good organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
