Business Development Manager Finished Dosage Formulations (FDF) We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager with deep expertise in pharmaceutical finished dosage formulations (FDFs). This role is strictly focused on expanding the product portfolio, identifying and onboarding new overseas manufacturing partners, and driving growth through strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have strong existing relationships with global pharmaceutical manufacturers, particularly those with European regulatory accreditations (EU-GMP, MHRA, PICs, etc.), and a solid grasp of product costing, contract negotiation, and international pharmaceutical compliance. The candidate must also be highly proficient in identifying reliable overseas manufacturers for high-quality FDF products. This position reports directly to the Director and involves significant international travel. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and secure partnerships with manufacturers of finished dosage formulations (FDFs) in India and overseas, with a focus on those holding European, PIC/S, US FDA, or Emerging Market regulatory approvals. • Strategically expand the organization’s product basket by onboarding new FDFs suitable for global regulated and semi-regulated markets. • Lead the entire business development cycle, from partner identification and product sourcing to cost negotiations and commercial closure. • Evaluate and negotiate product pricing and commercial terms to ensure competitive and sustainable profitability. • Monitor international pharmaceutical market trends, product gaps, and emerging opportunities. • Collaborate with internal regulatory teams to ensure manufacturer compliance with product registration and market-entry regulations. • Maintain a robust and updated network of global CDMOs and manufacturing partners. • Represent the company in international business meetings, conferences, and trade delegations to develop new business. • Provide strategic market insights and regular reports to senior management on progress, opportunities, and risks.
