Battery Test & Validation Engineer

As a Battery Science / Electrochemistry specialist, your primary focus will be on understanding degradation, safety, and state-of-health testing related to batteries. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the performance of batteries under different conditions and developing strategies to enhance their efficiency and longevity. Additionally, your expertise in High-Voltage Electrical Engineering will be utilized to design and operate safe charge/discharge test systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the electrical systems are functioning optimally and comply with safety standards. Your proficiency in Thermal & Safety Engineering will be essential for managing heat, preventing fires, and handling thermal runaway risks associated with battery operations. You will be tasked with implementing safety measures to mitigate potential hazards and ensure a secure working environment. Furthermore, your knowledge of Standards & Compliance, particularly IEC/UL/UN certification protocols, will be instrumental in ensuring that all testing procedures adhere to industry regulations. Your expertise in compliance will guarantee that the company meets all necessary standards for product quality and safety.
