Battery Lead

As a Battery Lead at our company in Bangalore, you will be responsible for leading the Battery Engineering team in designing and developing the Battery pack assembly. You will play a crucial role in driving the industry forward by overseeing various activities such as product concept and architecture definition, safe packing of batteries, electronics integration, thermal management, ease of installation, and more. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and direct mechanical design engineers throughout the full product development life cycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product performance, aesthetic, schedule, cost, reliability, and quality goals. - Conduct detailed reviews and design analysis of mechanical systems and components. - Create and maintain product and component design requirements. - Develop and execute hardware validation plans. **Qualifications Required:** - BE or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering (MSME/ MBA preferred). - At least 3 years of relevant work experience, including 1 year in a management role with direct reports. - In-depth knowledge of material science related to mechanical design components. - Strong understanding of component and product failure modes. - Proficiency in a variety of component fabrication methods. - Experience in integrating and packaging electronic assemblies. - Proficient in using 3D mechanical design and analysis tools. - Familiarity with medium to high volume Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) practices. In addition to the above, the ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of overall experience in this field.,
