The role in Group Technology and Operations (T&O) involves enabling and empowering the bank by maintaining a robust infrastructure focused on productivity, quality, control, technology, people capability, and innovation. As part of Group T&O, you will oversee the majority of the Bank's operational processes and strive to provide exceptional service to our business partners through various banking delivery channels. Your responsibilities will include monitoring application health and errors, raising incidents in case of threshold breaches, monitoring system metrics such as CPU and memory, troubleshooting to restore systems, providing first-line support for customer issues, analyzing and troubleshooting logs, monitoring and rerunning batches as necessary, updating stakeholders on status, and utilizing technical knowledge of Linux/Unix for scripting and automation. It is essential to have expertise in monitoring tools like Grafana or Kibana, strong analytical skills, knowledge of ITIL incident and problem handling processes, and familiarity with Java/J2EE, JBOSS, network fundamentals, batch monitoring, and basic database operations. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B. Tech or any full-time Bachelor's degree, possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in production support, infrastructure support, or development roles, have at least 4 years of experience in a Linux/Unix environment, understand applications and database connectivity, and have knowledge of DB2/Maria DB. Additional assets include banking knowledge, willingness to support 24/7 operations on rotational shifts, and effective communication skills for managing stakeholders and providing timely responses.,
