About the Project: Bass Kar Bunty is not just another comedy — it’s a desi animated universe. made in India, for Indians. We’re creating a fictional world packed with crazy characters, everyday chaos, and laugh-out-loud moments — from nosy neighbors to over-the-top family drama and social commentary that hits home. We're Looking For: A smart, witty Hindi/English scriptwriter who can: Develop original episodes set in a fictional Indian town or family setting. Write humorous dialogue, satirical storylines, and relatable characters. Blend social observations, family drama, pop culture, and dark comedy — Indian style. Think long-term: character arcs, running gags, inside jokes, and episode-to-episode consistency. What You'll Do: Conceptualize and write full-length animated comedy scripts (5–10 mins per episode). Collaborate with the creators, storyboard artists, and animators. Create character backstories and build a strong, consistent world. Pitch new ideas and episode themes. You Should Have: A strong grasp of Indian society, trends, and quirks. Experience writing comedy (YouTube series, OTT, theatre, stand-up, etc.). Ability to balance fun with meaning — jokes that hit and matter. A love for shows like Family Guy, Bojack Horseman, South Park, or Taarak Mehta — but want to make something original. Bonus Points: Experience in animation writing. Voiceover or acting background.
