Overview We are seeking a skilled and innovative Food Technologist to join our team in the fruit and vegetable canning sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and ensuring the safety and quality of canned products. This role blends scientific expertise with practical application to deliver nutritious, shelf-stable products that meet regulatory standards and consumer expectations. Key Responsibilities Process Engineering Design and refine thermal processing techniques (e.g., blanching, sterilization, retorting) Ensure consistency and efficiency in canning operations Collaborate with production teams to scale up lab formulations Quality Assurance & Safety Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure HACCP compliance Conduct microbiological and chemical testing of raw materials and finished goods Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory inspections Regulatory Compliance Stay updated on FSSAI, Codex, and international food safety standards Ensure accurate labeling and nutritional declarations Liaise with regulatory bodies as needed Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with procurement, marketing, and supply chain teams Train production staff on food safety and hygiene protocols Support troubleshooting during manufacturing issue Product Development & Optimization Formulate and improve recipes for canned fruits and vegetables Conduct shelf-life studies and sensory evaluations Innovate new products based on market trends and consumer preferences Qualifications & SkillsRequirementDetails: Education B.Tech/M.Tech OR Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field Experience : 2–5 years in food processing, preferably in fruit/vegetable canning Technical Skills : Knowledge of thermal processing, preservation techniques, lab testing Soft Skills : Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities Tools & SoftwareFamiliarity with MS Office, ERP systems, and lab equipment Why Join Us?
