Backend Team Lead

As a Backend Lead, you will be responsible for leading the architecture, development, and maintenance of scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs using Node.js. Your role will involve designing and optimizing NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity. Additionally, you will build and manage cloud-native backend applications deployed on Microsoft Azure, leveraging relevant services and best practices. - Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to enable smooth, secure, and efficient delivery processes. - Establish and enforce version control workflows using GIT, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to backend developers to support code quality, problem-solving, and team development. - Ensure system scalability, security, and monitoring, and lead incident resolution for backend services. - Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver cohesive and well-integrated software solutions. - Contribute to or oversee the integration of AI/ML or computer vision capabilities into backend workflows where applicable. - Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, architectural guidelines, and API specifications for internal use and cross-team coordination. - Proficiency in Node.js and experience with building scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs. - Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra, with a focus on performance optimization. - Experience in developing and managing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. - Familiarity with automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. - Solid understanding of version control workflows using GIT and best practices such as branching strategies and code reviews. - Leadership skills to provide guidance and mentorship to backend developers. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the integration of AI/ML or computer vision capabilities. - Knowledge of React.js or Next.js is an added advantage for seamless collaboration with frontend teams and full-stack troubleshooting.,
